My latest works

Let me share to you some photos from the Technical and Dress Rehearsals of the dance monologues "Sinturon", "Manika" and "Rosaryo" performed by the kids of the Association for the Rights of Children in SouthEast Asia (ARCSEA) in different venues in Italy.

It is my third time to direct for ARCSEA, for their annual performances in Italy for a fund-raising campaign.
Read related story here.

From last year's short play Emmanuel.
Last year,  we came up with "Emmanuel," a short play I did about Filipino children caught in armed conflict.

For this year, the three dance monologues (which is a mix of contemporary dance movements and monologue in one with minimalist set design) I did were inspired by true stories of children who died because of the difficult situations they were faced with.

Here are some of the photos of the kids' powerful performances during the rehearsals before they left for Italy:

"Sinturon" inspired by the story of a girl who hanged herself because of poverty

"Manika" is about a girl  raped by an American soldier.
"Rosaryo," about a girl killed by soldiers.
